This page explains what cookies are, which ones we use on sauto.md, why, and how to change your choice at any time. It is part of our Privacy Policy.
1. What a cookie is
A cookie is a small text file the website stores in your browser. Some are required for the site to work (for example to remember your chosen language), others serve traffic analytics or advertising.
2. Our rule: nothing by default
Sauto.md starts no non-essential cookie before you agree. On your first visit you see a banner with two equally weighted options: "Reject" and "Accept". Until you choose, no analytics or marketing tool loads.
Refusing does not limit your access to the site or to the car offers in any way.
3. Essential cookies (always on)
Without them the site cannot work. They do not track you and need no consent.

4. Analytics cookies (only with your consent)
They show us how the site is used so we can improve it. We do not use them to serve you ads.

5. Marketing cookies (only with your consent)
They let us show you relevant car offers and measure which campaigns work.

6. Where the data goes
The tools above belong to companies that process data on servers outside the Republic of Moldova: Google and Meta in the United States, Yandex in the Russian Federation, TikTok in China and Singapore. These transfers happen only if you accepted the corresponding category. If you refuse, the tools do not start and nothing is sent to them.
7. How to change your choice
At any time, in one click. The button below reopens the settings panel, where each category can be switched on or off separately. The same button is in the footer of every page.
You can also delete cookies directly from your browser privacy settings. Note that deleting all of them also erases the record of your refusal — and the banner will ask again.
